Organic chocolate comes from a rare and natural variety of cocoa beans that are both very aromatic and tasty. The recipe is traditional in Provence, we usually eat candied orange in the 13 Christmas desserts. Products

What does this sweet treat box contain? Only local products, made with passion by Confiserie Fruidoraix a Living Heritage Company (French EPV label), specialized in the French candy « calisson ». Here’s the list of components:

navettes of provence 1 box of 150 g of navettes with fleur d’oranger.
Ingredients : Wheat flour, icing sugar, non-hydrogenated fat, eggs, aurancial paste (orange blossom paste), orange blossom water. DMD 12 months.
This product may contain nuts and soya traces.

organic nougat 1 box of 50 g of organic hazelnut and coffee nougat candies.
Ingredients*: sugar, finely milled hazelnuts (21%), glucose syrup, honey, coffee flavour, egg white, wafer paper (potato starch, water). DMD 12 months.
This product may contain traces of other nuts and gluten.

organic chocolate and almond 1 bottle of 150 g of organic chocolate covered almonds (green & black olives).
Ingredients*: dark chocolate (cocoa min 60%) (cocoa mass, sugar, cocoa butter, soy lecithin emulsifier, vanillin flavor), almonds, white chocolate (sugar, cocoa butter, whole milk powder, emulsifier, soy lecithin, vanillin flavor), gum arabic, sugar, coating agents (gum arabic, sucrose, glucose syrup, shellac, E132, E153, E102* dyes.) *(May have adverse effects on activity and attention in children). aix-en-provence calisson 1 bar of 12 mini calissons of Aix, natural flavour or fruity - 75g.
Ingredients: Candied melons (melons, sugar, glucose syrup), almonds, sugar, candied orange peel (orange peel, sugar, glucose syrup), wafer paper (potato starch, water), syrup glucose, egg white, vanilla flavor. (Allergens: almonds, eggs). DDM 12 months.

Provencal sweets

They come from simple recipes based on local products: honey, almonds, melons, oranges and all the local fruits of Provence. These are all the aromas of the sun that are concentrated in biscuits, pasta almonds and fruits, or candied fruits in sugar.

Here, at the time of our great grandmothers, we didn’t use butter and dairy products, because cows have always been absent from the Provencal landscape. No rich desserts and cakes. Those elements were replaced by egg white and dry textures, and fruits cooked in sugar.

The traditional confectioneries of this box must be tasted with a good espresso coffee for a pure delight!
