The game of Provence
In the past, the Provencal terroir had a large number of fauna adapted to the Mediterranean climate or more mountainous depending on the place. On one side, scrubland and pine forests, there were many small game birds, thrushes, quail and partridge.
In the East and Haut Var, or further west in the Provencal Ardeche, wild boars are still present. On the heights and the Alpes de Haute Provence, where there are forests, small deer are quite common.
No wonder many traditional recipes contain game, in the form of terrines, stews and civets, rich and tasty dishes, to eat during festive meals.
A box to offer
Traditional Provencal dishes can also be a corporate gift for the end of the year. We offer two gift packs for a more festive presentation: a black bag with showcase and handles, or a red, glossy-effect box for a rendering "prestige". We remain at the disposal of professional customers for any personalized study on all our local products.
