For gourmets only
These are craft Christmas Advent calendars composed of 24 sweet specialties of Provence. The candies and chocolates are handmade by a confectionery factory having received the French label « EPV » (Living heritage workshop)! Without revealing secrets, let’s give you some clues: Christmas figurines bites in dark chocolate (74% cocoa), or milk (39% cocoa), chocolate candied orange, chocolate coated almonds, calissons, wrapped nougat in papillotes with different flavors (vanilla, chocolate, coffee & hazelnuts), and finally a surprise in the 24th box. What delicious sweets to discover from December 1 to Christmas Eve: children (and their parents too) will love!
Reusable Advent calendar
The cardboard used to contain the confectionery is compatible with foodstuffs.
Recyclable and reusable, it’s also a refillable Advent calendar. Our Advent calendar can display 4 styles to please everyone with small multi-faces cubes with 4 different drawings: simply return the boxes to choose another drawing.
The kids will be fans, and they’ll keep their little secrets in the boxes after eating the candies.
The tradition of Advent
In France, it’s a tradition related to the Nativity of Jesus, celebrated on December 25, and to the Catholic liturgical year.
Advent (Adventus) is the period of four weeks beginning on the 4th Sunday before Christmas. The children’s Advent calendar is a nineteenth-century German custom whose purpose is to keep children happy before Christmas, as today.
Originally, they were pious images, then they became cards with several pages ... before turning into calendar cardboard with small windows, crafted by the family father.
In the twentieth century, chocolates replace images and the principle of the advent calendar is spreading around the world. Today, there are all kinds, but the most popular are calendars filled with treats.
