Provencal manufacture
Nothing more appropriate than a confection made by a specialized Provencal factory to put Provence in the spotlight. The manufacturer of this towel has chosen a quality cotton to ensure a strong and pleasant towel. The honeycomb weave is very absorbent thanks to the thickness given by the cells to the fabric, and the cotton that holds the water. The pattern is embroidered on a strip at the bottom of the towel. Hems end each rag on the sides. A small strip allows you to hang the laundry on a kitchen hook.
A cicada in Provence
This pretty cicada with round wings is placed on an olive branch. Its head is colored orange and its wings are yellow to bring out more on the pattern. The name of PROVENCE is embroidered in green and in circle art under the drawing. You can choose the color of your towels only according to your tastes, because the quality of the colors ensures a washing performance without fading.
Astonishing cicada!
Did you know that the cicada larva lives underground for years before hatching on the surface of the earth to live only one summer? At the approach of hot weather, in late June, the male scratches his abdomen to attract females: this is what produces this very particular sound wrongly called cicadas "song". This is actually called cymbalization. Despite a large number of natural predators, the cicada is fortunately still present in Provence. For how long ? We recommend you leave it in its environment if you have the chance to find one in our area … in order to prevent cicadas extinction.

Some tips : to wash your laundry, we recommend Marseille soap, a natural and really effective product that the washerwomen (lavandieres) of Provence used formerly. In addition to being environmentally friendly and harmless to the skin and the environment, it cleans and removes stains perfectly without damaging fabric. You can also use white vinegar as a softener: it's natural too. Do not hesitate and follow the example of Provencal housewives, back to fundamentals: it's good for you, for your home, and for the planet!
For TEFLON treated or coated fabrics: we recommend to iron on the reverse side of the fabric to reactivate the properties of anti-stain treatment.
