Multiple use

This square shaped basket is very useful to keep all those little treasures that we tend to loose often: keys, keychains, smartphones, pill boxes, pens, audio kits ... All these objects, embarrassing at home, will find their storage in this pretty fabric box.
You can also use it at the table as a bread basket for example.
In addition, you can stack several to classify your objects by building a very original storage tower while space saving. When you don’t need it anymore, undo the knots and place the basket in a drawer. It will come out later.

Emblem of Provence !

Let us say a few words about this little flying insect that we think we know by heart. But what do you really know about cicadas?
The female cicada lays its eggs in summer in a tree bark protected from predators. During the fall period, the eggs slide towards the ground and burrow to a few centimeters deep. The larvae feed on root sap and remain in the subsoil for about 17 years. They will go through different states before emerge as a nymph. In a few hours, helped by the heat of the summer sun, they get rid of their carapace. They will live again for a summer to reproduce.
This reproduction and hatching process can only take place with a minimum temperature. This is why the cicada is almost exclusively present in the Mediterranean regions.
So bring the cicadas home, even if you don’t live in the South of France. Pick an item from the Cigales collection.

Easy maintenance

All our household linen is made with care in the South East of France with quality textile materials. In order to preserve all the qualities of your article, we recommend you to follow our maintenance advices. This will help you enjoy the features and properties of your house linen longer.

Some tips : to wash your laundry, we recommend Marseille soap, a natural and really effective product that the washerwomen (lavandieres) of Provence used formerly. In addition to being environmentally friendly and harmless to the skin and the environment, it cleans and removes stains perfectly without damaging fabric. You can also use white vinegar as a softener: it's natural too. Do not hesitate and follow the example of Provencal housewives, back to fundamentals: it's good for you, for your home, and for the planet!

For TEFLON treated or coated fabrics: we recommend to iron on the reverse side of the fabric to reactivate the properties of anti-stain treatment.
