Gordes, sweet life in Provence!

A perched village in the Luberon overlooking a wide valley is enough to attract visitors seeking serenity. Old stones and idleness are the themes of this very rich and textured pattern magnified by woven Jacquard. A pleasant stay in the Mont Ventoux country with this original cushion.
In very soft tones, one face figures the courtyard of a gravelled “mas” (Provencal farmhouse) with its stone fountain, shutters, nonchalant wisteria and stone wall. Some plants, watering cans and a deckchair complete the scene with a touch of color. Everything is framed as if it was painted by an artist.

On the back of the square cushion, you can see a small olive tree in an Anduze vase. Black olives emerge from the green foliage, the only color present in the drawing. A set of words arranged in frame forms the background, in mixture of beige and ecru. Several lines in more or less sustained tones succeed each other to the edge as a frame.

Some tips : to wash your laundry, we recommend Marseille soap, a natural and really effective product that the washerwomen (lavandieres) of Provence used formerly. In addition to being environmentally friendly and harmless to the skin and the environment, it cleans and removes stains perfectly without damaging fabric. You can also use white vinegar as a softener: it's natural too. Do not hesitate and follow the example of Provencal housewives, back to fundamentals: it's good for you, for your home, and for the planet!

For TEFLON treated or coated fabrics: we recommend to iron on the reverse side of the fabric to reactivate the properties of anti-stain treatment.
