These delicious specialties included in the gourmet Provence box are only food products from Aix en Provence by artisans. Cooked dishes are GMO-free, preservative-free, palm-oil free with no flavour enhancer. The navettes (shuttle biscuits) are the result of an artisanal production by an Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (EPV French label).

anchoiade1 glass jar of 90 g of anchoiade cream, to take with crunchy vegetables, for example.
Ingredients: Anchovy (35%), water, sunflower oil, olive oil (10%), capers, garlic, fennel, pepper, thickener (xanthan, guar), spices. (Allergens: anchovies). DMD 48 months.

eggplant cream1 glass jar of 90 g eggplant cream with olive oil to spread on your toast and spice up your appetizer.
Ingredients: Eggplant (66%), onions, olive oil (10%), tomato paste, red peppers, garlic, salt, sugar, pepper, basil, hot pepper. DMD 48 months.

dried basil tomato1 glass jar of 90 g of dried basil tomato cream, to eat on toasts.
Ingredients: Water, dried tomatoes (25%), olive oil, garlic, anchovy paste (salted anchovies 80%, vegetable oil, salt, vinegar, spices), salt, dry basil (0.25%). (Allergens: anchovies). DMD 48 months.

Ingredients: Wheat flour, olives 21.1%, glucose, non-hydrogenated fat, olive oil, salt. May contain traces of nuts, soya, pieces of olive pits. DDM 12 months.

The vegetables of the sun

Traditionally, the aperitif is a sacred moment in Provence. We like to take our time, and enjoy salty products made with sun vegetables: olives, tomatoes, peppers, aubergines, anchovies, with a hint of garlic, basil and, of course, olive oil. No exotic nuts, just fruits and vegetables found on the Provencal markets.

For example, anchoiade is a typical dish taken as an aperitif or as an appetizer. It’s composed of pieces of winter vegetables (carrots, cauliflower, celery) and peppers, accompanied by a sauce that gave its name to the dish. It’s based on anchovies. The raw vegetables are soaked in anchoiade according to the principle of the french fondue.

The vegetable delights are cooked with olive oil as it should, and very scented with Provencal flavours.
