Honeycomb weaving is generally appreciated for its ability to absorb water through the cells that create small cavities in the fabric. Moisture is retained more easily. These kitchen dish towels are made from a very soft cotton for the hands, and its fine honeycomb texture makes it easy to handle.
It is just as practical for wiping dishes without leaving a trace, with ideal dimensions of 20 by 28 inches. Neither too thick nor too heavy, it hangs nicely on a kitchen hook to stay at your disposal. The 3 pieces allow you to have a spare towel while waiting for the laundry.
Olive oil in the kitchen
The embroidery represents three traditionally-shaped oilers in Provence, filled with a green colored liquid: olive oil. The invariable pattern following the color is embellished with two olive branches framing the oilers. The word PROVENCE is embroidered in green under the decoration in an arc. The decoration is like advertising our olive oil so popular and beneficial to health. Indeed, olive oil can have a color that oscillates between gold and dark green depending on the maturity of the fruits that have been pressed, and the variety produced by the olive grower. Also you should know that olive oil is sensitive to light, and that oil containers are often opaque or colored glass as a protection. Green olive oil is richer in antioxidants but also more acidic to taste. The more mature olives will give a softer oil, but also a color tending towards yellow.

Some tips : to wash your laundry, we recommend Marseille soap, a natural and really effective product that the washerwomen (lavandieres) of Provence used formerly. In addition to being environmentally friendly and harmless to the skin and the environment, it cleans and removes stains perfectly without damaging fabric. You can also use white vinegar as a softener: it's natural too. Do not hesitate and follow the example of Provencal housewives, back to fundamentals: it's good for you, for your home, and for the planet!
For TEFLON treated or coated fabrics: we recommend to iron on the reverse side of the fabric to reactivate the properties of anti-stain treatment.
