The mellowness of terry cotton

For your hands, this terry with a thick texture (400g / m² French measure) will be very soft while being absorbent. A Provencal company specializing in home textiles has selected it as the raw material for its ideal qualities. We can therefore trust these decorative towels made in Provence with beautiful finishes. The cut, the embroidery and the border are impeccable. A tie, the same color as the background, and placed in the center of the cloth, allows to hang it at hand. Besides, no problem with the colors that will hold well at washing.

Cicada and olive tree

In nature, you can hear the cicadas more easily than you can see them. When you approach a place where a cicada is emitting its "tchi-chi", it becomes silent. It is a very fearful insect, difficult to spot. However, for the most patient, they can be seen on a tree trunk, usually a pine, an almond tree or an olive tree. The latter serves as support for our embroidered cicada, represented with rounded wings to make it even more sympathetic. It is golden and sits on a branch with silver green foliage. The inscription PROVENCE in dark green emphasizes the decoration in an arc of circle as to surround it. These cotton towels from Provence sign their origin.

Some tips : to wash your laundry, we recommend Marseille soap, a natural and really effective product that the washerwomen (lavandieres) of Provence used formerly. In addition to being environmentally friendly and harmless to the skin and the environment, it cleans and removes stains perfectly without damaging fabric. You can also use white vinegar as a softener: it's natural too. Do not hesitate and follow the example of Provencal housewives, back to fundamentals: it's good for you, for your home, and for the planet!

For TEFLON treated or coated fabrics: we recommend to iron on the reverse side of the fabric to reactivate the properties of anti-stain treatment.
