Menton, capital of lemon
The coastal town of Menton, just before the Italian border, is part of historic Provence. It is recognized as the capital of lemon growing on its land since the fourteenth century. The collection evokes the Lemon Festival, an annual event featuring parades of tanks entirely built of citrus fruits. It is a tradition that, fortunately, is perpetuated to the delight of Provencals and tourists... So, long live the lemon of Menton!
